Hey, y'all. It's a chill Saturday, and I have a moment. I'm writing a post about forgiving yourself right now; you may see it tomorrow or in two years. Idk. But I wanted to pause, and share this with you.

Last week, Grace and I did some cosplay we've (I've) been wanting to do for months. Finally the weather was right. Here's a sneak-peek of Grace's and my Sherlock and John cosplay: THIS IS NOT A REAL GUN. IT IS AN AIRSOFT BB (And it doesn't even hurt.) I want to do this one again. There's so many more ideas I have for pictures. Same as my LotR cosplay, I'll post the rest when my mom finishes editing them... We were at Meals on Wheels the other day, and we were in line to pick up the food we needed to deliver. My littlest sister observes, "Everyone is wearing either blue or black jeans. Except those two. They have blond jeans." "Khakis, Hazel. They're khakis."
"All right! All right! What were you doing?" "Sneaking." Earlier this month, I got to watch Lord of the Rings! :D. Nevermind. The smiley looks funny with this font. But I did watch Lord of the Rings. Over the course of three days, we watched the three movies. Everyday, we cosplayed something different (except the last day. We had a Christmas party we had to dress for that day.) Here are some sneak-peeks from our LotR cosplay! Me, Elanor: Hannah: Lulu: Grace didn't want to do anything, so she was the photographer. Check in again soon to see the rest, and to find out who everyone cosplayed!
My sister, watching the Beecake "Clown" music video: Can I hit them in the head worth a frying pans ...that's on fire?
My dad just said: If Watson's name is John, then when Sherlock talks to him, is he going to The John?
Today was "Dress Up as Your Favorite Storybook Character" at Levi's school today. His favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham, but we didn't have anyhting to use to dress up with that. Next we tried Sherlock. He LOVES Sherlock. Levi will sit (mostly) still and watch entire episodes of the 1950's Sherlock (the one with Ronald Howard). Having only a magnifying glass for a Sherlock costume, we couldn't do that either. Obviously LotR was next. A-dorable baby Frodo cosplay on Pinterest + Levi, who is 100% Hobbit = The best thing I've seen all week. I'm rather proud of myself. With what I had, I tried to make a brooch similar to the one's from Lothlórien. And, having Levi try to wear a necklace would likely not end well, so it's just a chain pinned to his shirt underneath his cloak. When we walked him to the bus, he was so proud of himself. Instead of running out to greet the bus like he usually does, he marched slow and steady with the air of one who knows he is great. I just about died of cuteness. This was my favorite pic: When I told him to say cheese, this was the pose he chose. (Dang it. I hate it when I accidentally rhyme.) Hope this made your day better. Be kind to everyone! You never know who needs it.
One time we were at the park with a bunch of family. We were eating lunch under the pavilion, and in between trying to fly a kite, I kid you not we look over and there's this guy riding his bike across the turf. Sounds normal enough. He had a sheep tied to the back. A SHEEP. A fluffy, white sheep running behind him. And I still have so many questions.
Mattie and Lily (Our Nigerian Dwarf goats) had their kids. Lily kidded last week, and Mattie kidded Monday. Here are Lily's kids: This is Easter Lily. (She's my favorite) I don't have a picture of her brother, Bronco, right now. He's passed out on one of my sisters. Recently disbudded, he still looks a little funny. Mattie's kids: This is Bambi. My mom named them, so ask her why she's named Bambi. And Flower. Contrary to the movie, Flower is a girl. And finally, there's Thumper. It's wonderfully crazy having all these baby goats running around. We have put them in old doll clothes; carried them around while we did housework; napped with them; played piano with them in our lap; in other words, FUN. Getting distracted is insanely easy with these cuties running around. We will have to sell them, because the city we live in will only let us have two goats. Anyway, they have started jumping all over the furniture, and we don't really have a problem with them pottying in the house. Goats are actually really clean animals, and in some ways, better than dogs. They are quieter than barking dogs. Even the girls are much cleaner. They give you milk. They are smart, - it's not uncommon to train them. Did I say Adorable?
Also, the baby goat's aren't always inside. Sleeping in the "barn" (a normal shed, just set up for goats), we only bring them inside for some of the day ;) Happy birthday to my Mum.
Happy birthday to my Mum. Happy birthday to you Mum! Happy birthday to my Mum. |
